I am a Board Certified hospice chaplain, and an ordained Lutheran pastor.  I have received a Master’s of Divinity degree.  I also have a bachelor’s degree in music education and an MBA.  I have been a music teacher, a medical secretary, a summer camp director, a paraprofessional Wand a pastor.

I grew up with four brothers and no sisters on a farm.  I have a daughter and son-in-law and two amazing grandsons, whom I thoroughly spoil and love with all my heart. It is only as an adult, and quite unintentionally, that I discovered I had a gift to write.  When my spiritual director first said, “You have the gift to write,” I was reluctant to claim that gift.  Perhaps I was afraid of failing, or perhaps I was afraid of the responsibility of using that gift.  But I have grown into this gift and absolutely love to write.
